Peter Noble was born in South Africa and grew up travelling. He studied music and drama at the University of Cape Town, and worked in the theatre, touring South Africa with a small repertory
company, as well as appearing on radio, TV and film.
Peter came to London to study classical acting at LAMDA. He went on to train as a singer at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was part of the second graduating cohort of the legendary RAM Musical Theatre programme. He has an MA in creative writing from the University of East Anglia, and is expanding his master’s dissertation into a book-length project for PhD at King’s College London.
Peter is now based in Hertfordshire and is a full-time voice actor. He has recorded more than 100 audiobooks and audio dramas, for clients including the BBC, Big Finish, Hachette, HarperAudio, Hodder & Stoughton, Macmillan, and Audible.
